Jetty has teamed up with local Maui designer, Sarah DeYoung of sarcreate, to spread aloha and awareness about the devastating fires in Lahaina.
As a designer, resident, and lover of the island’s beauty and sacred land, when disaster struck on August 8th, 2023, Sarah knew she had to do something to help. Aside from volunteering on the ground, Sarah turned to creating art and collaborating with Jetty to produce this Maui Strong relief t-shirt with 100% of profits going to Maui Fire Relief efforts.Funds will be distributed through the Jetty Rock Foundation to benefit vetted nonprofits, businesses, and families in Maui.
Sarah’s art draws inspiration from the tropical charm and spirit of adventure provided by the island of Maui. Her distinctive approach of crafting every piece by hand not only sets her apart as a digital artist and graphic designer but also mirrors the hands-on approach that the residents of Maui took to support one another after the wildfires.
