On Giving Tuesday we would like to share a few of our philanthropic achievements and future plans with you! Charity and Community are pillars of our brand, so we are dedicated to growing our Jetty Rock Foundation. This will allow us to scale our giving as our overall business and reach continue to expand. We plan, execute and are involved in a lot, but everything ties back to our JRF mission statement: To protect our oceans and waterways, and support those who build their lives around them. We're a Certified B-Corp! We're just about through our recertification process which occurs every (3) years. Our B-Corp status includes Jetty, Jetty Rock Foundation and everything under our company umbrella, from beer to ink. In 2021, we became a Surfrider Foundation Coastal Defender, joining like-minded brands that support Surfrider's mission. This year we've donated 188,091.35 with a goal of cracking 200K by year end. Jetty + Jetty Rock Foundation have donated 1,698,499.68 to date! We're working through the interview process to hire our first Executive Director for our Jetty Rock Foundation. We're really excited to build out a staff for the nonprofit which will allow us to scale our fundraising and giving considerably. We picked up and recycled a lot of oyster shells in 2021. We helped initiate the LBI Region's Follow the Shell oyster recycling program and we continue to support the Atlantic City Shell Recycling Program. In 2022, we'll be pumping up our environmental focus by supporting more oyster recycling and restoration projects around the country as well as building out educational programs. We're bringing back HopSauce Festival next year! It's slated for June 18, 2022. Our new Flagship Store as well as the LBT Field Station will be new venues for additional fundraising events. We're becoming more sustainable by incorporating more recycled fabrics, especially our own Oystex, into our clothing lines. We truly appreciate your support over the past 19 years!
